Artist Description/History:
I started producing back in 1998, when I was making beats on a Sony Playstation with MTV Music Generator and loving it.
In 1999, I purchased a PC and some real software: Acid, Rebirth and SoundForge. Over the next couple of years, I released a number of well received songs including: Liquid Manifesto, Hard Fast & Furious, Drop Bottom and Malice in Wonderland.
In 2000, I co-founded Spastikwax with DJ Solid.
In 2001, RedAlien and I started collaborating under the alias, Unusual Cuts. We produced a number of drum and bass tracks and were well on our way to finishing a demo, when tragedy struck. Due to a hard drive failure, we lost everything! The Reason files, patches, samples, vocals… everything that we had built from scratch.
I couldn’t find the heart to start over from scratch, so I stopped producing and focused on my DJ work, which was just starting to take off.
In 2003, I started DJ’ing at Trikkx Nightclub in St. Paul, Minnesota as a resident DJ. Wednesday was 80′s night, Saturday was mainstream club and Sunday was trance night for me for well over a year. It was a lot of fun, but you can only play Britney Spears, Whitney Houston and Cher for so long…
In 2005, I went out and got a full time job doing graphic design and started DJ’ing as a hobby again.
These days, I’m playing house parties and smaller venues.
